UMMC player Olairi Kosu declares for the WNBA draft

Olairi Kosu, one of the most promising Russian basketball players, a member of Basketball Club UMMC and the Russian national team, is preparing to take a major step in her career. The “Fox” has officially declared for the 2025 WNBA Draft, which will take place on April 14.

The women’s draft consists of three rounds, with 13 teams each making their picks for future stars. The key moment is the first round, as it guarantees a contract with the team. Players selected in the second and third rounds don’t receive such a guarantee but may be invited to a team’s training camp. The main thing is to prove yourself on the court.
