Yekaterinburg team defeats Nadezhda on home court

In the Fonbet Russian Championship - Premier League game, the "Foxes" defeated their opponents from the Orenburg region with a score of 93-57.

The game started with a tense struggle, as both teams tried to impose their own rhythm. UMMC's leader, Alex Bentley, was searching for her game but was limited to accurate mid-range shots. However, a three-pointer from Jovana Nogic allowed them to pull slightly ahead – 20:18 in favor of the home team at the end of the first quarter.  

In the second period, the players of Dmitrii Donskov ramped up the tempo and launched a series of long-range shots. Nogic, Bentley, and Beglova confidently scored from the perimeter, while Maria Klyundikova dominated in the paint. Meanwhile, the Orenburg team struggled, managing only 11 points in the quarter. The result of the first half showed a significant advantage for UMMC – 52:29, leaving no doubt about their intentions.  

After the halftime break, the visitors attempted a counterattack, but their efforts only resulted in brief successes. UMMC maintained control of the game, though Nadezhda tried not to let them pull too far ahead. However, the set plays of the Yekaterinburg team and accurate shooting from the wings secured their lead. With the score at 72:44 heading into the final quarter, the outcome of the game seemed decided. 

    
The final ten minutes turned into a showcase of the hosts' strength. The "Foxes" continued to play at full intensity, and only the question of surpassing the 100-point mark kept the intrigue alive. The players of Evgeni Ivanov could not stop the relentless attacks, but the hosts fell just short of the century mark. The final score was 93:57 – a crushing victory for UMMC team.  

The top scorer for the hosts was Alex Bentley with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Maria Klyundikova contributed 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both Maryia Papova and Olairi Kosu scored 13 points each.  
In the squad of Nadezhda, Unique Thompson recorded 15 points and 13 rebounds.
