Yekaterinburg to host the Fonbet Russian basketball Cup Final Four again

The capital of the Urals will be the venue for the Final Four of the Fonbet Russian Cup for the second consecutive year. The sporting event will take place on January 30 and February 1, bringing together the strongest women’s teams in the country.

The semifinals promise thrilling matchups: NIKA-Luzales (Syktyvkar) will face Dynamo Kursk, while the tournament hosts, UMMC, will compete against MBA-MGUSiT from Moscow. The winners will advance to the tournament’s final, scheduled for February 1, with the third-place game also taking place on the same day.

It’s worth noting that all participants in the Final Four are the semifinalists of last season’s Fonbet Premier League. UMMC Yekaterinburg confirmed their status as the favorite, securing a spot in the decisive stage with confident victories over Enisey from Krasnoyarsk in the quarterfinals.
