Junior “Foxes” take the lead in the Russian Championship semifinal

The basketball players of UMMC-DUBL finished the first round of the semifinals of the Russian Championship among juniors in first place, demonstrating consistency and team spirit. The tournament took place from December 6 to 10 in Yessentuki.

The team, coached by Rustam Abdullin, started with a confident win over the CSKA Sports School (78:62), then defeated Samara-DUBL by a 6-point margin, and in their game against Neftyanik-Titan-DUBL, they put on a real show, securing a significant victory by 25 points. The round ended with a tense game against MBA-Academy, where the players from Yekaterinburg snatched a narrow win - 71:69.

The first round brought the UMMC juniors to the top of the standings, showcasing their strength in both offense and defense. The “Foxes” once again proved they are ready to fight for the title, demonstrating character, unity, and skill at every stage.
