The opening quarter was low-scoring for both teams. By mid-quarter, the juniors and the red-and-whites had scored only 4 and 5 points, respectively. Then, the Moscow team pulled ahead by 7 points within two minutes. However, a successful three-pointer by Alena Basova and effective plays by Karolina Korkina brought the score closer. The quarter ended with a score of 10:19 in favor of the visiting team.
The hosts won the second quarter in points. Svetlana Samusheva stood out, scoring 6 points in just two minutes. MBA-MGUSiT-2 took a 23-28 lead into halftime.
The long-awaited comeback for the home team happened in the third period. In the seventh minute, Anastasia Odintsova tied the game at 32:32. By the end of the quarter, the team of Elena Kuzmina held a 3-point advantage at 37:34.
In the final quarter, the lead changed hands again, with the visiting team taking a narrow advantage. This remained until nearly the end of the period. However, in the ninth minute, with UMMC-Junior trailing by one, a fast break allowed them to take a 1-point lead. UMMC-Junior ultimately clinched the victory in the final seconds, winning 45:44.

The juniors pulled ahead right from the start, scoring 8-0 in just under three minutes. Anastasia Odintsova led the offense, making successful mid-range shots. Throughout the first ten minutes, the opponents managed to score only 7 points, resulting in a 19-7 lead for the home team.
The second quarter was more competitive. By the fourth minute, a three-pointer by Maria Sedyakina and three points by Sofia Golubeva extended the lead to +15, making it 30-15. The team of Elena Kuzmina took a 34-19 lead into halftime.
The third period was similar. A successful three-pointer by Golubeva and mid-range shots from Polina Gusakova pushed the difference to double digits, 41-20. However, the Moscow team didn’t give up and attempted to cut the gap, making the outcome uncertain until the final moments. The score heading into the last quarter was 48-32 in favor of UMMC-Junior.
The final quarter thrilled the spectators with an unexpected comeback. The team of Andrey Dolopchi steadily reduced the deficit until they were just one successful play away. In the final minutes, a fierce rally ensued, but the “Foxes” did not relinquish their victory – finishing at 68:66, the Yekaterinburg team secured their second consecutive win.
