UMMC basketball players prepare for the new season

The players of the main team and coaching staff have arrived at the club's location in Yekaterinburg. The athletes have already undergone medical examination and have begun preparations for the 2024-2025 season.

It is already known that center Maria Klyundikova (Vadeeva) has returned to the “Foxes” after her maternity leave, while foreign players Alex Bentley and Megan Walker will join the training camp a bit later.

The coaching staff of the team remains unchanged: the players from Yekaterinburg will compete under the guidance of head coach Dmitrii Donskov, assistant coaches Denis Sevastjanov and Olga Korosteleva, as well as conditioning coach Alexandr Lisichkin.

Young basketball players from “UMMC-Junior” - Maria Sedyakina, Alena Burmakina, and Miroslava Sudarikova will also train along with the main team. The training camp will take place in Yekaterinburg, and before the start of the Russian championship, the team will play several friendly games.

In the Russian Premier League, UMMC opens the season on the road against the newcomer of this season, Runa Moscow, on October 4, and will play their first home game on October 8 against Dynamo Moscow on the home court of DIVS Arena.
