The draw for the Russian Cup tournament of the 2024/25 season takes place
Today, on July 1, the draw for the 22nd edition of the Russian Women's Cup took place. A total of 29 teams will participate, with 16 of them starting their campaign from the group stage, which will be held in four groups. Representatives from the Super League and the Premier League will be part of this stage. The games are scheduled for September 20-22. UMMC-Junior will play in Group G, where besides the “Foxes,” there will also be Slavyanka-CHKPZ (Chelyabinsk), Enisey-2 (Krasnoyarsk region), and Metallurg (Magnitogorsk).
In the Final Four of the third edition of the Berlin Cup, only the group winners will play, and the winner of the Berlin Cup will advance to the 1/8 Finals of the Russian Cup 2024/2025.
Six winning pairs will advance to the quarterfinals, where they will be joined by UMMC - the winner of the 2024 Russian Cup and Nika-Luzales - the silver medalist.
The semifinals and final will take place on January 24-26, 2025, and the venue will be announced in December.
