UMMC basketball player Elena Beglova held a master class at Yekaterinburg school No. 91. Children from sports sections learned some of the secrets of successful preparation for competitions and became acquainted with the training format of professional athletes. Together with the students, Elena performed exercises, paying special attention to dribbling techniques. She also answered the students' questions and shared advice on how to prepare for the game properly. At the end of the meeting, friendly games were held between the teams, and then all participants received autographs and took photos as a keepsake. The students, teachers, and even spectators were delighted to attend the event and expressed their gratitude to Elena for the master class.
Basketball section coach Konstantin Verkhovets shared his impressions:
- This is a great and invaluable experience for the children. Learning from the most eminent athletes is an excellent opportunity and motivation for development. We thank Elena Beglova and the UMMC basketball club for the wonderful event.
Elena Beglova, UMMC player:
- I had a great time with the kids who want to learn something new, improve themselves, and understand basketball better. Today, we worked on dribbling, ball handling in motion, and I also showed them defensive elements that are crucial to follow in the game. I explained how important teamwork is because basketball is about cooperation on the court.
