The opening ten-minute period was dictated by the "Foxes". Midway through the quarter, they built a 7-point lead. Dmitrii Donskov's team did not stop there - two minutes before the end of the period, Kseniia Levchenko and Elena Beglova extended the lead to 11 points, the score was 14:25.
In the second quarter, UMMC players also dominated on both ends of the court. Two three-pointers from Alex Bentley increased the lead to 17 points after 5 minutes of play. Alex converted another three-pointer just before the buzzer sounded - and the teams went for the halftime break with a score of 46:28 in favor of the "Foxes".
In the third stretch, the Yekaterinburg players started hitting three-pointers - Anastasiia Shilova, Viktoriia Zavialova, Alex Bentley and Elena Beglova made accurate long-range shots and overall settled the question of the winner. Before the final part, UMMC were already ahead by 32 points with a score of 48:80.
The only intrigue in the final quarter was whether the Ural athletes would be able to surpass the 100-point milestone. The final buzzer sealed the victory of UMMC with a score of 59:103. Thus, the "Foxes" became the first finalist of the Fonbet Russian Premier League Championship.
In the squad of UMMC, Alexandria Bentley became the top-scorer with 21 points and 3 rebounds. Victoria Macaulay added 13 points and 4 rebounds. Olairi Kosu had 12 points and 8 rebounds. Elena Beglova and Zhosselina Maiga scored 11 points apiece.
In the squad of MBA, Maria Korshakova became the scoring leader with 14 points and 3 rebounds. Valentina Kozhukhar accumulated 13 points and 2 rebounds. Marina Goldyreva finished with 10 points and 4 rebounds.
