However, the hosts quickly caught up with their opponents. The teams went for the halftime break with UMMC-Junior holding a minimal lead - 29:31.
The second half of the game was tense for both teams. The opponents alternately took the lead. The successful three-pointers from Elizaveta Kolotovkina, Daria Sharova, and Polina Kuznetsova are deserving notice. In the final seconds, the UMMC players secured a victory with a two-point lead and advanced to the semifinals of the Fonbet Russian Super League Championship.
