The final game of the second round of the Fonbet Russian Super League Championship took place in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. On March 24, UMMC-Junior faced Dynamo-Farm from Kursk. The young “Foxes” secured a comeback victory in overtime.

The game was closely contested until the middle of the opening quarter. After accurate mid-range and long-range shots by Nina Ulchenkova, the hosts pulled ahead by 4 points. This advantage was kept until the end of the quarter. The score was 24:20 in favor of the juniors.
Tatyana Fefilova’s team also won the second stretch. The Dynamo players even managed to close the gap to one point by the middle of the quarter; however, the junior “Foxes” quickly regained the lost advantage, ending the half with a score of 36:29.
The third quarter went well for the Yekaterinburg team. After 5 minutes, the juniors were ahead by 16 points and led 47:31. However, the opponents from Kursk managed to slightly reduce the deficit before the final part - 49:41.
The last quarter was not without intrigue. Losing the gained advantage, the Yekaterinburg team ended the quarter with a draw of 60:60. However, the overtime settled everything, resulting in a victory for the Ural team with a score of 72:69 and second place in the standings after the second round.
In the squad of UMMC-Junior, Polina Kuznetsova became the top-scorer with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Daria Sidorova and Nina Ulchenkova scored 10 points apiece. Margarita Kuziakina added 8 points and 10 rebounds; Elizaveta Kolotovkina had 8 points and 7 rebounds.
In the squad of Dynamo-Farm, Yana Elberg accumulated 19 points and 4 rebounds. Elena Mukhina harvested 15 points and 3 assists. Daria Goncharova finished the game with 13 points and 7 rebounds.
This was the final game of the regular season for UMMC-Junior in the Women's Super League. The playoff series will start on April 3, and the opponents of the "Foxes" will be known later.
