The final quarter was not without intrigue - by the middle of the period the St. Petersburg players came within one long-range shot. The juniors, however, were not going to give up on victory and again imposed their pace of play, increasing the advantage first to a comfortable 9, and then to 12 points. The final buzzer sealed the victory of the “Foxes” with a score of 62:74.
In the squad of UMMC-Junior, Maria Sedyakina became the top-scorer, registering a double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists. Polina Kuznetsova also accumulated double digits – 13 points and 10 rebounds. Margarita Kuziakina had 12 points and 4 rebounds.
In the squad of Spartak, Ekaterina Voronina became the scoring leader finishing with 17 points and 4 rebounds. Diana Popova logged a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Tatyana Soloveva added 12 points and 7 rebounds.
