Forward Megan Walker joined the UMMC squad

The basketball club UMMC signed a contract with 24-year-old American forward Megan Walker. As part of UMMC, Megan will wear number 22.

Walker played college basketball for the University of Connecticut (UConn) and was drafted ninth overall in the first round of the 2020 WNBA Draft by the New York Liberty. Later she played for the Phoenix Mercury and Atlanta Dream teams.

In 2021 Megan with Tina Krajisnik, as part of the Hungarian club Sopron, reached the Euroleague Final Four. The forward spent her last season in Europe in the Turkish team Emlak Konut where she averaged 14.4 points, 5 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
