The UMMC team started preparing for the season

The main team of the basketball club UMMC got back from vacation and started preparations for the upcoming season. The players had a thorough medical examination in the clinic “UMMC-Health” and began the training process.

Their first training camp will be held in Yekaterinburg, and at the end of August the team is going to Nizhny Novgorod, where they will continue their training. Before the start of the Russian Championship UMMC will play a few friendly games.

Five basketball players from the “UMMC-Junior” youth team will work along with the players of the main team from August 28 under the guidance of the coaches Dmitrii Donskov, Denis Sevastjanov, Olga Korosteleva and Alexandr Lisichkin. And the list of the squad will look like this: guards Viktoriia Zavialova, Elena Beglova, Kseniia Levchenko, Alexandra Stolyar, Daria Sidorova, Nina Ulchenkova; forwards Anastasiia Shilova, Anastasia Olairi Kosu, Margarita Kuziakina, Polina Kuznetsova; centers Albina Razheva, Zhosselina Maiga and Alena Burmakina.

UMMC will start the new season on October 8 on the road, meeting with “Dynamo” Moscow, and “the Foxes” will play the first home game against “Neftyanik” Omsk on October 12.
