UMMC Basketball Club has signed a contract with Russian point guard Karina Nizamova.

Karina is well known to Russian basketball fans from her time with NIKA-Luzales (Syktyvkar). In the upcoming 2025/26 season, she will represent the Urals-based team.

Her return to UMMC is symbolic — in her youth, she already played for the club’s junior team in the DUBL (Youth Basketball League) from 2007 to 2009.
