The team of Dmitrii Donskov started the game cautiously, but by the middle of the opening quarter, they took control and pulled ahead by 7 points. Kosu confidently attacked under the basket, Shilova made a three-pointer – all of this helped maintain the lead. However, the hosts became more active towards the end of the quarter, narrowing the gap to four points. The first quarter ended in favor of UMMC 16-20.

In the second period, the “Foxes” significantly strengthened their defense, allowing the Moscow team to score only 5 points.
