The 4^th edition of the D.Ya. Berlin Cup has concluded in Vologda. In the final, the young “Foxes” faced off against the “Vladimir Lionesses” but fell short in a hard-fought game 74-82.

The Yekaterinburg team suffered a major blow in the semifinals when their leader, Sofia Golubeva, was injured. Despite her absence, Daria Pushkareva and Polina Gusakova stepped up, scoring nearly half of the team’s total points. Both players were named to the tournament’s All-Star Five.

Elena Kuzmina’s squad returns home with silver medals and continues their campaign: in the Round of 16 of the Russian Cup, they will face Dynamo (Novosibirsk Region).
