The Yekaterinburg team finished the season on a high note, capturing bronze medals at the Russian junior championship. The tournament took place from April 24 to 29 in Sochi at Lesnoye Sports Complex and featured the country’s top junior teams.

In the third-place game on April 29, the Foxes earned a confident 62–53 victory over Spartak Saint Petersburg. UMMC juniors controlled the game throughout and left their opponents with little chance down the stretch.

A day earlier, the team fell to UOR No. 3 Vidnoye 49-69 in the semifinal, unable to challenge one of the tournament favorites.

Still, UMMC Youth Team looked convincing on their way to the bronze medals. In the group stage from April 24 to 26, the team finished first in their pool, ahead of Sparta & K-DYUBL, Spartak Saint Petersburg, and Slavyanka-CHBK (Chelyabinsk).

Bronze medals at the national championship mark a strong finish to the season for the team coached by Rustam Abdullin. Congratulations to the young Foxes and the coaching staff on a successful end to the campaign!
