The team from Yekaterinburg completed the final series in Orenburg with a 3-0 sweep and once again became the strongest team in Russia. Center Maria Klyundikova was named the MVP of the 2024–25 Premier League playoffs, while Alex Bentley earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team (top five players of the playoffs).

Scores by quarter: 24-24, 12-23, 10-25, 10-16

The visitors came out strong to start the third game: Bentley scored twice in the paint, while the home team didn’t get on the board until the third minute. However, the Orenburg players quickly responded and tied the score. The end of the quarter was spectacular, with Bentley and Levchenko combining for three more three-pointers. The result — a rare tie after ten minutes (24–24) and a tense anticipation of what was to come.

In the second quarter, Nadezhda began to falter. The “Foxes” went on a 6–0 run, forcing Evgeny Ivanov to call a timeout, but it didn’t help — UMMC continued to increase the tempo. Beglova made an impressive shot from beyond the arc, pushing the lead into double digits. The Yekaterinburg team confidently controlled the pace and didn’t allow the home side to catch their breath. At halftime, the scoreboard read 36–47, with the reigning champions in the lead.

The second half of the game began with another run from the visitors. Although the Orenburg team responded, UMMC were already operating in championship mode: accurate, composed, and flawless. Lisec and Beverly traded three-pointers, but the “Foxes” didn’t lose their rhythm and continued to systematically dismantle their opponents’ defense. Kseniia Levchenko capped off the third quarter with a deep shot, making it 72–46 and putting Yekaterinburg ahead by 26 points.

The final ten minutes were more of a formality. UMMC had a slow start offensively, scoring their first points only in the fourth minute, but even that didn’t affect their control of the game. The home team couldn’t break through the visitors’ defense and continued to struggle against the pressure from the “Foxes”. The quietest quarter of the game sealed the deal: 56–88 — UMMC claim their 18th Russian championship! A flawless final, with a 3–0 sweep. Having secured every possible title, Dmitrii Donskov’s squad wraps up the 2024–25 season on a high note.

UMMC: Bentley – 15 points, Levchenko and Walker – 10 points each.

Nadezhda: Beverly – 16 points, Thompson – 14.
