UMMC center and MVP of the Spartakiad of the Peoples of Russia with Sverdlovsk Region shared her thoughts on the tournament:

“I think this was probably the first time in two years that I really enjoyed my game. Before that, I was working my way back into form, but things weren’t quite coming together. But this time, I felt like myself on the court, and I’m really happy about that. The highlight of the Spartakiad for me was definitely the semifinal against Moscow. I pulled off a little move where the defender turned away, and I scored it like Dirk Nowitzki. That was pretty unusual. Overall, a tournament like this is really good preparation for the Premier League. Of course, it’s tough when you have games every day, and sometimes it can be physically demanding, but you push yourself through it and imagine that you’re playing in an international tournament.”
