The draw for the basketball tournament at the 2nd All-Russian Summer Spartakiad of the Strongest Athletes has been held. The women’s tournament will feature 12 teams divided into three groups.

The Sverdlovsk Region team, made up of players from UMMC’s senior team and UMMC-Junior, was drawn into Group B. Their opponents will be Moscow, Samara Region and Vladimir Region.

The tournament will take place in Yekaterinburg from September 21–27. Teams will play a single round-robin in the group stage. The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-place finishers, will advance to the quarterfinals.

UMMC players will begin preparations for the Spartakiad on August 18. On August 28, the team will travel to Türkiye for a 10-day training camp.
