Elena Beglova, point guard of UMMC Basketball Club, is retiring after eight seasons with our team!

Today, we want to say thank you to a person who has become not just a part of the team, but the true heart of our club.

Over these years, Elena has become an eight-time Russian champion, a four-time Russian Cup winner, and a four-time Russian Super Cup champion. She also holds the UMMC Cup and the first-degree Badge of Honor “For Merit to the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company”. Additionally, she is a silver medalist of the All-Russian Spartakiad.

On the international stage, Elena is a three-time EuroLeague champion and a three-time European SuperCup winner. And that’s only a part of her impressive career.

Dear Lena, it’s hard to put into words how much warmth, professionalism, and dedication you’ve brought to our team. Thank you for every moment, for every emotion. Ahead of you are new heights and challenges — and we are confident you’ll rise to them 100%.
