In Yekaterinburg, the league leaders reaffirmed their powerhouse status: in a Fonbet Premier League matchup, the hosts routed Energy Ivanovo 96–51.

Quarter scores: 25–20, 25–6, 20–13, 26–12

The opening quarter was fast-paced and energetic. Klyundikova set the tempo for the home side, quickly putting them up 6–2, and then Bentley and Shilova knocked down back-to-back threes to stretch the lead to 13–6. Ivanovo didn’t fold: Kruzhilina answered from deep, Zhigiliy was solid in the paint, and Shumikhin’s team stayed within one or two possessions for much of the period. However, toward the end of the quarter, UMMC ramped up the pressure again, pushed the advantage into double digits, and forced the visitors to call a timeout. It worked only partially — Energy cut the gap to five — but the quarter still belonged to the Foxes, 25–20.

In the second quarter, UMMC really began to pick up the pace. Nogic opened the period with a three-pointer, then added another one, and the lead quickly ballooned to 17 points. After two powerful threes from Alex Bentley, the margin turned into a 24-point blowout, and the visitors started to fade. Energy collapsed under the pressure, and late in the quarter Tretyakova drained another triple, cementing the hosts’ dominance. The teams went into halftime with UMMC up 50–26.

The third quarter saw the visitors trying to turn the tide: two clutch threes from Kuznetsova cut the deficit to 11, but that proved to be the end of their rally. Bentley and Lisec answered with timely triples of their own, quickly restoring a comfortable lead for Donskov’s squad. Maria Klyundikova, who had racked up 20 points, hit another long-range shot, pushing the margin close to 30. The Foxes controlled the tempo, keeping pace with the league leaders, and closed the period confidently at 70–39.

The final quarter became a formality, but far from a dull one. Shilova, Bentley, and Nogic seemed to compete from beyond the arc, maintaining the tempo and capitalizing on every opportunity. Energy relied on Kuznetsova and Peremenina to stay in the game, but their efforts weren’t nearly enough to turn things around. The Yekaterinburg team closed out the game as expected — 96–51 — securing another dominant victory.

UMMC: Klyundikova (22 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists), Bentley (22 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists), Nogic (13 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists), Walker (11 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist).
