UMMC Head Coach Olaf Lange:
- I am glad by the way we started the game. We made a comfortable backup and followed the chosen strategy. We also selected the ideal combination of players on the court in order to distribute equally our strength along the complete Final series. Tonight Nadezhda missed three of its leading players and it made our goal much easier. However, our opponent’s the biggest advantage is that it has the same roster that has an experience of competing both in EuroLeague Women and in the Premier-League. Taking into account all our previous matches against Nadezhda take a look that we had never won with a score difference more then 20 points. For the now, the series score is 1:0. Tomorrow we are going to meet gain and continue the battle.
The second Final series game is taking place tomorrow in Ekaterinburg. Then the teams will move to Orenburg in order to continue the series and have game three on the May 4. In case if the game four might be necessary to determine the winner, then it will also take place in Orenburg on May 5. In case of an even score the Final deciding match will be held on May 8 in Ekaterinburg.
