The first physical training session took place at the stadium.

UMMC women’s basketball team has kicked off their preparations for the 2025/26 season. On Monday, the team underwent mandatory medical examinations, and on Tuesday, August 19, they had their first training session.

Not all players are currently at the coaching staff’s disposal. The team has been joined by a new signing — Karina Nizamova. Foreign players are expected to arrive in Yekaterinburg at a later date. Maria Klyundikova and Olairi Kosu, who are currently playing in the USA, will also join the team later.

It has been announced that UMMC will begin the Premier League regular season on October 1. In the opening round, the Ural club will travel to Ivanovo to face the league debutants — the team Energy.
